Planned Unit Development (PUD) is a housing development with a homeowners association that administers common property and facilities owned by all persons who dwell in the community. Special zoning is required. These developments combine office space, stores, theatres and apartments in a single community. They often have laundry facilities, restaurants, and food stores.
